| Speak Up Texas! is an outreach program
brought to you by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) to
increase awareness and use of Speech-to-Speech, a feature of Relay
Texas. Speak Up Texas! is not a medical service or educational program for purposes of compliance
with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and therefore,
it is not intended to supplant such a medical service or educational
program. The PUC is not an educational
service agency as that term is defined in the IDEA. Speak Up Texas!
is a public service to raise awareness about Speech-to-Speech Relay
Services and to increase use of the service by those with speech disabilities.
